The Material Protection Business Unit offers you a very broad product line in industrial biocides and preservatives. With applications ranging from wood protection to beverages, corrosion control to personal care, and root resistance to antifouling.
Material Protection Products from LANXESS include:
- Preventol® bactericides, fungicides, termiticides, and corrosion inhibitors used in industrial preservation, disinfectants, soaps, water treatment, wood preservations, and antifouling
- Solbrol® preservatives for the cosmetic, personal care, and pharmaceutical industries
- Metasol® thiabendazole (TBZ) products served as effective dry-film mildewcides in applications such as paints, adhesives, plastics, textiles, soap wrap, grout, air conditioning, insulation materials, and various paper applications
- Tektamer® dibromodicyanobutane (DBDCB) microbiocides used for industrial spoilage protection against a broad spectrum of bacteria, yeast and fungal contaminants
- Biochek® combination biocides (DBDCB-based) are effective in inhibiting the growth of microorganisms in aqueous systems, including paints, emulsions, adhesives, joint cements, pigment dispersions, metal-working fluids, waxes, polishes, inks, and fiber processing fluids and coatings
