Ethics guidelines

LANXESS K.K. embraces the highest standards in its business activities. It is open, honest and considerate in its dealings with customers, suppliers, members of staff, associates and all groups and individuals with whom it has contact and dealings. The following principles are mandatory on all its members of staff, associates and agents.

1. We focus our activities on our customers at all times, and consistently endeavour to enhance their satisfaction.

2. We aim to be open and fair to our customers, suppliers and the general public. For this purpose we inform and advise them quickly and comprehensively.

3. We undertake to observe prevailing laws, both local and global.

4. We strive for a high level of quality, environmental protection and safety in everything we do. With it we deliver added value for our customers, suppliers, employees and stockholders.

5. We uphold the human rights and respect each other. Harassment and discrimination are prohibited.

6. Customers are treated with the utmost confidentiality. No information concerning their affairs is published or passed to a third party without their written permission. No Insider trade by unpublished information is conducted.

7. Company Ethics Office consisting of Human Resources and Legal Affairs sections accepts any consultation by e-mail, telephone, inter-office mail or post at any time. Their privacy is strictly protected.
